Award-winning Brazilian journalist Chris Delboni had been a foreign correspondent in Washington, D.C., since 1993 before moving to Florida. She has taught journalism at the University of Miami and Florida International University, where she was the first news director for the South Florida News Service, serving local mainstream newspapers, such as the Miami Herald. She currently directs Nova Southeastern University’s Student Media, composed of newspaper, radio and TV stations. Delboni has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in journalism from American University in Washington, D.C.
